The Vacations Can Be Such Hard Work

These vacations, they can be so exhausting to one who is jet-setting all of the time. As for one, I am glad to be completed of my most trip to Minorca. It was almost as if it was not worth my time to be brought there.

You must understand, that being the center of attention in a world that craves to be beautiful is far more difficult than for you to realize as a common person. I say that not to shame you, but to make you strive towards being more rich and cultured.

For me, I know how much it takes of the dedication to be admired and adored in public. Do you think I just put on my best face in the morning? Ha ha ha, I say with my most refined way of laughter.

It is important that not only that I look absolutely fabulous at the moments of my admiration, but that I am to be seen with the right people aussi as well. Can you not imagine the clash if I were to be associated with for example a baron of a small republic with no chance of attaining the higher status? Surely if a duke were in the same presence, I would be more diminished socially for such a faux-pas.

Showing up late for a president's soiree is certainly more of the science than the art. It is much better that you study your salad forks first before you are ready yourself to be seen with the beautiful people.

What can I say to you to be better prepared for your next trip on the Mediterranean? Well, the more of your luggage you can have is always a plus, and never be happy with your first suite in the hotel. Be shedding the tears if you must when you are not given an Italian motorcar to thrill ride in, and always to be sure that your host has prepared your credit limit to suit your station.

Continue to strive to be like me, and you will eventually get the rewards. Though you will probably never be as beautiful as I am, you must always tell yourself that you can still play for the silver.
