"If you're stuck for cole slaw, we can be on your premises to grate those cabbages in time for your family dinner. Or, if you're having a dozen friends over for a pizza-making party, we can have that mozzarella shredded for you in no time!" Grate-It is the only on-site food-grating company in Vancouver. Their bonded grating professionals are able to provide grating solutions, in a private and confidential manner. No one needs to know that you weren't the one to shred the carrots in your Thai-style carrot salad, or grate the cheddar used on your mega-deluxe nacho platter. "We're able to help you manage that 7-layer dip, or prepare that dish of Sauerkraut," said Colin. "Our industrial graters will have that red--or green--cabbage ready to be pickled in an instant." Originally set up as a paper-shredding company five years ago, Grate-It quickly discovered a niche for itself in paperless environments such as restaurants, caterers, and home kitchens. "Sometimes a caterer will be on a job and suddenly discover that they don't have enough cauliflower julienne," said Colin. "I've lost fingernails trying to use those archaic tin graters," said Linda Forrester, mother of three. "It's just not worth the time and effort, not to mention the bits of finger, grating all those carrots myself.
