How's it goin' eh? Well hosers, I saw a CBC commercial during the Ottawa/Buffalo for Bob & Doug McKenzie's Two-Four Anniversary, a one-hour tribute, to be broadcast on CBC later this spring.

Now I always thought these guys were hilarious in the 80's. I had their album on cassette, and of course I picked up a copy of Strange Brew when it came out, and man did I hate Max Von Sydow guy. What a nasty villain he was!

I think perhaps that time has changed my perception of them, but I'm wondering if Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas's goofy Canadian characters will have matured at all. Sure it's nice to see them don the toques one more time, but have they grown up at all? What about a second generation of wool-headed hosers?

I'm looking forward to seeing the special, which will probably be the only other time I tune into CBC...unless there's a playoff game on...eh.
