Advice from Helena Aunde-Bague
My sister Genevive, she is so crazy for her kids. She will take them to their cute little schools, and drive them to their soccer games. She will make up their pretty lunches, and put ointment on their little cuts.
Oh my beautiful sister, you are so adorable!
But, my charming love, you cannot be serious for me to watch them over the holidays! Your beautiful babies, they are not to stay with Aunt Helena, no-no-no. But ma cherie, you must not think I do not love you even less, and even more so your petites, for I do so much. It must be for me to explain, that the children are to be not seen and not heard.
You see, I am so fond of your family, for you are so busy with them, and do not have time to spare for me and my lifestyle yes? It is so much better for you and them that I just see them at Christmas, when they can be spoiled and not be bored by me. You must understand my love, that it is only for the best that I do not spend too much contact with such youthfulness until there is refinement, perhaps at a finishing school I can recommend.
Until that time, I think it is best that you should maybe keep them at home, or perhaps with grand-mère. I think that they would only find my guest house to be stuffy and without their fun. Of course, if you should need, I would happily send you a cheque if you prefer to send them to some fine summer school if you and your man need some private time to be with yourselves.
It is only for the best that I say these things, as Aunt Helena does her best aunting when the children are to be elswhere.![]()
