Advice from Helena Aunde-Bague
I cannot hide my disappointment in you, my friend Yvette. I could not say to your face my ashame I feel. Oh, how I wish you told me first!
I must tell you that I saw up close on your wrist that you were not wearing an authentic Gucci watch. Oh my precious Yvette! I would wish and hope that you could confide in me your problems. If you are having difficulties maintaining your lifestyle, I would hope you would ask me to at least help you find a new man who could provide for you adequately. At the very least you could have worn long sleeves to disguise.
You do not need to be showing up with fake accessories and apparel. You intended to fool me, but to maintain your presence among those around you. It was so obvious, but I think you could have maybe convinced others.
But it is alright, my sweet dear friend. It could have been worse for you even more. You know I would only tell a few close friends about your indiscretion. You need not fear that the rest of the common world would find out. I could lend you one of my extra Rolex’s, or at least you could appear to be slumming with one of my Movado’s. This is something between friends that I would do.
There is no need for you to continue with these charades.![]()
