How Many Computers Is Enough Computers?
Oh sure, with five Pentium 4-or-better machines, he's able to play games, work with Corel Draw, Illustrator, and Photoshop, communicate on IRC, run his website, copy DVDs, and answer his e-mail, but without a sixth machine, he's not able to record television shows off of cablevision, encode videos into MPEGs, or maintain a mega music video archive. "As soon as I pay a few bills, and save up a little bit of cash I'll be able to get that necessary sixth machine and make my life a little simpler," said Richie, who didn't include his laptop, his PDA, or his scientific calculator as part of his PC inventory. |
