 MIDDLE EARTH-- Who will be the next lords of the rings? The parallel bars? The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced that the 2012 Summer Olympic Games will be held in the Middle Earth region of Mordor.The dark host has already begun preparations by enslaving hundreds of cave trolls to construct the Olympic venues and by breeding special Uruk-hai athletes to compete in the ancient games. A special berserker will carry the torch to the base of Mount Doom, where the games will be held, and 5,000 humans are expected to be sacrificed at the opening ceremony. Hordes are expected to attend. Mordor beat out other competitor cities Osgilliath, Rivendell, and Mexico City with a winning bid, although some suspect that the olympic comittee members may have been under some sort of evil wizard's spell.  |
